The focus of the research theme is the improvement of diagnostics and treatment of patients with chronic somatic illnesses with regard to the psychological determinants and consequences of somatic conditions. |
The theme consists of two linked sections:
- Psychological factors in chronic somatic illnesses
- Cognitive dysfunction
Both sections focus on the (neuro)psychological risk factors, consequences, diagnostics and treatments of these conditions in adults and children, finally contributing to the improvement of quality of care in these conditions.
