NCEBP Research Council
26-06-2012 - 17-11-2012

Together with the research board*, the leaders of the fourteen Research themes are the official members of the NCEBP Research Council, which meets six times per year. The NCEBP Research council meetings are open for all senior scientists of the institute and the chair of the PhD council. Important decisions on research policy are discussed within this council. The meetings of the NCEBP Research Council also address the further intellectual interaction within and between the themes and programmes by organising presentations of original research data and topics by theme and programme coordinators.

*NCEBP is managed by a research board comprising the scientific director (Prof. Bart Kiemeney) and four programme leaders, and the assistant scientific director (Dr. Marieke de Visser). The research board meets once a fortnight and has an important role in promoting focus and critical mass in strategic areas of excellence, but also in stablishing new academic chairs and other tenure track positions.
